In my last post I talked about how amazing the customization is regarding the motorcycle world. I forgot there’s another world that offers more customization than four-wheel cages - airplanes. As in those things with wings. (continuted after the jump)
Now, here’s the thing, that requires massive qualifications. The Federal Aviation Administration isn’t going to let you pretend that what you build for Red Bull Flugtag is going to pass for an actual viable aircraft. But - but - it is possible to design your own aircraft if you’re good with welding and are happy enough to concede with something that’s fabric covered.
Remind me to talk about this in greater depth later.
I also promise this is going to be the last drunk post I’m going to make for a few hours.

I have not looked into EAA requirements but I plan on wrapping my design in aluminum.
